Wireless Access in the Library

The Library offers the following available wireless networks:

  • UMCG-Guest    (free for all, after a short confirmation screen)
    • NO ACCESS TO DIGITAL FULLTEXT from the library, you need to use links from our library website, toolbar or mobile app to get the login for our proxy access
    • This access is filtered for optimal security. Details about this filter: .......)
  • eduroam (with a lower case e)
    this network provides, for both students and employees of other educational institutions as well as students and employees of the RUG, a wireless internet access within the buildings of the RUG (including the CMB UMCG).  For the settings of this network please view our FAQ and manuals. 


Library staff can help you with getting access to these networks, but first try these manuals please.
